Gohan x Female!Reader (Curse)

My breath comes out in short, heavy pants. It was so hard to breathe…My fingers claw at my chest in a desperate attempt to get more air, to open my lungs. Gohan can only watch, helpless behind the glass window as I fall to my knees, the black fog surrounding my being. How could I have fallen for it…? This villain was going to use this against the entire world…but for right now he wanted me to suffer personally. Gohan begins to bang on the glass, screaming my name, tears appearing in his eyes. “(Name)! Just hang on! I’ll get you out of there, I promise!” I nod slowly, my body getting closer to the floor as I begin to lose consciousness. Soon I would be dead…I wanted to lose hope…but I wouldn’t. I couldn’t. The entire world…would be subject to this curse. My friends…Chi-chi, Goku, Goten, Trunks…Gohan…everyone was in danger. I had to do something…something to make sure that I would be the first…and last casualty. Forcing my body to get up, despite the light-headedness and almost lack of ability to breathe, I grab onto the vase, ripping it from its pedestal. Staggering towards the door, I melt the doorknob with a ki blast, making it so there is no way for anyone to open it. If Gohan couldn’t break this door down, than no one could. And even if they should…this vase wouldn’t exist. I let out a cry of effort and slam the vase into the floor cracking it. More of the gas leaks out and now I can’t breathe at all. But I’m not going to stop just yet.

I slam the vase into the ground, over and over and over again until finally it shatters. The shards cut up my hands but, even with the pain, I smile. I wouldn’t have to worry about everyone’s safety. “(Name)! Keep your eyes open!” My body falls into the shards, getting cut up in the process. But I can’t even move. “(Name)! Please! Don’t die!” Tears appear in my (eye color) eyes as various images of my nonexistent future come to mind. I look up to Gohan and mouth, ‘I’m sorry’ and close my eyes.

“(Name)!!” I feel Gohan’s ki climb to exceptional heights even for him and hear the glass of that unbreakable window shatter into a thousand pieces before I finally lose consciousness.

Sound is the first to come back to me. I can hear the sound of various people sobbing. Crying…? Why are they crying? I can’t open my eyes. Were they already open? Why was the other world so dark…? I let out a whimper of fear. Suddenly everything goes silent. I try to open my eyes again and this time succeed, though I almost wish I hadn’t. The bright lights blind me and cause me to let out a yelp of surprise. As my eyes adjust, I can see that I’m in a white room. The hospital? Why was I in the hospital unless—instantly I sit up, startling whoever was next to me. “I’m alive!” I look around and see all my friends gathered around me, each of them with tears in their eyes and staring at me in a state of shock. I turn to see who was the closest to me that I scared and see Gohan in the same state as everyone else. Instantly, without a care for who’s watching, he grabs onto my shoulders and yanks me into a kiss. I can actually feel his emotions: relief, terror, confusion, disbelief and love. All of this at once. Why was I able to do this all of a sudden? He pulls back and hugs me to his chest, burying his face in the top of my head.
“Thank gods…oh I’d thought I’d lost you. Don’t ever scare me like that again!” He begs me, crouching so he’s eye level with me. I laugh and nod my head, overjoyed that, that terror was destroyed before the world suffered even more.
